A Problem Identification And Information  Collection
We came to know of “think quest”. Five of our classmates got interested about it and  we discussed about the competition. Then we concentrated of an insolved problem that needs a real solution.
Amanda explained about “Poverty and reasoned out solutions”. Ayesha thought of Sri Lankan classical dancing. But we need to do something new.
So, we thought of paying attention to agriculture with a usage of waste etc.
Identities,
{                      Paddy Husk
{                      Hay

Some times we recycled them in a very low percentage. We discussed with old farmers,
elders where paddy husk has not been utilized or reused. We thought of finalizing the usage of
paddy husk which confirm more “Kpotassium…….And if mixed with some other organic matter
 freely available.
Our group leader Koshila raised the point that she came to know of “K” availability in
burnt/dried paddy husk.We read books. Some began to arch in webs and whatever available
important as facts scientifically.“Thushanka and Ayesha” were on webs and
other three were on books etc.
Then, one factor is highlighted. It’s establishing of a nursery with a medium like paddy husk.
Where other system had to undergo fumigation followed with compost mixing in a ratio. So
complicated and once the fumigation is not in completed or successful. There would have been a
chance of emerge of bacteria and
virus…Finally a nursery plant.
So, we happily decided to utilize a paddy husk as nursery mixture and the matter finalized.
Because the burnt paddy husk media in completely free of bacteria and fungus etc.

The thought of making “Achcharu” (Pickle) came in to production.
We brought fruits and peeled out all the fruits well and washed them in clean water. Then cut them in to small pieces added small amount of salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar .Then mixed them well.
We sold that “Achcharu” among to our schoolmates using “kanda leaves” instead of plates which would give more natural environmental friendly background.

Finding a required implements.
We made a simple “Kunthaniya” (Furnance) using an emptied welded barrel with a pipe line to exshaut smoke.
The firewood lit and heeds up light and paddy husk and kept under heat inside the furnance mixing up and down for a day.
Then the result shown was the heated blackly paddy husk correctly treated. Heat treated paddy husk and mixed them with the raw paddy husk in a correct ratio.
